We spent a great week in Orlando at the beginning of February. The weather was great, Miss H had a blast, we traveled with friends and we all had a great time! This will take me a few days to put together but here is a little tease. I promise to start posting more! Fun trip to Mount Vernon. A few days after Christmas, we met up with Mom, Leigh, Chip and Mr. J for a post-Chrismas visit to Mount Vernon. The highlight was Aladdin the Camel. Miss H thought it was hysterical.

I recently wrote about the actual Joshua tree. But now let me tell you about the park! When visiting the area we stayed in a fun little Airbnb way out in the desert. We were lucky enough the sit at the outside bar and enjoy the beautiful desert sunsets and sit around the fire to enjoy the unbelievable clear night and take in the vastness of the night sky. On the day we were set to go into the park, we awoke to a desert thunderstorm! Channel Islan.

Free me from the absurd notion of place and let me roam the world. The north island is so much more populated the the south. It was great seeing all the people and normal sized cities. After arriving to Auckland we headed straight to Hamilton. Hamilton is a lot bigger and more populated the many of the cities on the south island. The only thing of note is the river walk which we did.
